Commercial Construction Project Manager

The Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to independently oversee commercial construction projects from the initial booking through successful closeout. This hands-on role involves comprehensive project lifecycle management and direct client/supplier interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Documentation: Manage all project documentation, including subcontracts, procurement orders, change directives, and submittal packages
• Coordination: Monitor and coordinate material deliveries with project sites to ensure timely execution
• Software Management: Utilize internal project management and detailing software effectively
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
• Problem Resolution: Proactively address and resolve job site challenges with urgency
• Estimating: May include estimating responsibilities based on branch needs

What You Bring

• Industry Expertise: Specific industry expertise in commercial swinging doors, man-doors, traffic doors, impact doors, bi-swing doors, or similar specialized door systems (REQUIRED)
• Project Management Experience: Proven experience in commercial construction project management
• Technical Skills: Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Work Style: Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively

Location Requirements

Ideally based in or able to relocate to the Syracuse, NY area.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $75,000 - $110,000 base annually
